Daniel F. Monahan

Dan Monahan has been representing survivors of sexual abuse for decades. Dan has helped men, women and children receive millions of dollars in compensation for the harms and losses these victims who suffered for years in silence and shame. His clients appreciate his personal attention to protect their interests and confidentiality, and he is known to fight with the powerful weapons of the law to obtain the compensation and justice his clients deserve.

Dan’s clients include those that have suffered abuse at the hands of clergy members, boy scout leaders, teachers, coaches, medical providers, employers, and a variety of individuals and institutions in custodial care of men, women and children including mental health facilities and nursing homes.

Dan graduated cum laude from the University of Delaware with a Bachelor of Arts in History in 1975. He received his law degree from Villanova University School of Law in 1978 and a Masters in Law from Villanova in 2000.

He is admitted to practice law before the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania, all Pennsylvania state courts, the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania and the Federal Circuit Court of Appeals.

A member of the American Association for Justice, the Pennsylvania Bar Association, the Philadelphia Trial Lawyers Association and the Chester County Bar Association, Dan is also a Fellow of the Academy of Trial Advocacy.

Dan has been named by Main Line Today as one of the “Best Attorneys” in the Philadelphia suburbs.
